During a war that's been going on for too long, in a long since occupied village, a war general from the aggressors side visits a tavern and connects with one of the barmaids.
Alas, it doesn't take long before the modest romantic ambitions of the barmaid fail to keep up with the ever swelling passion that grows within the general. Feeling helpless, he tries to intimidate her with his military power. Disappointed, unfaded and with pity in her eyes, the barmaid gets back to work.
